Size – and what the client is going to use it for – sometimes the client can ask for the wrong size.
Print and print area – so number of colours and print coverage of the item.
Delivery date required – and if there is any room for movement on this (most items are available at an express and so many times clients ask for the express but pay for longer lead times leaving you out of the loop).
Finally be sure to ask your client for budget, there is nothing more annoying for you to be researching an item that costs £2 when the client’s budget is 20p per unit.
