You will undoubtedly have seen the media coverage regarding the coronavirus outbreak over the past 6 weeks, and we understand that you may be considering the potential impact on your supply chain. Kan produces products globally, with our Chinese facilities being an important source for many of our products, which is why we want to reassure you as best we can about fulfilling your orders.
We have always been committed to delivering on time and with a high level of customer service. So even if, albeit temporarily, we may not be able to meet delivery deadlines or unable to provide our usual range of products, we will endeavour to offer you an alternative, or the very best lead time that we feel comfortable will meet your clients needs.
Whilst many of our facilities in the Far East are returning to work they are still experiencing delays due to some of their supply chain not being able to return to work. The knock on effect of this is that our UK supply chain has the potential to run low on stock whilst the Far East catches up. This will inevitably cause some delay with incoming orders which we anticipate may be for up to a month. We are continuing with production at our facilities and are working with them to establish lead times for new orders. However, given the challenges being faced in China we need to be realistic that lead times may be less accurate and longer than we’ve previously been used to.
Please rest assured that we will keep you up to date with your orders at all times. Our Account Management team will be more than happy to assist you to offer find alternative products.
